K&N decided to use a large cone shaped air filter with a carbon fiber top (part number RP-4600) for the Mitsubishi after trying different shapes and sizes of intake tubes with different filters. “We found out that the factory intake worked well and it did not change the horsepower gains,” said Bert Heck, K&N Performance Kit Manager. “The K&N air filter is the primary reason for the power gain. It increases air flow while protecting the engine from harmful debris.”

HKS Exhaust system and components
The HKS Legamax Premium Muffler for the Lancer Evolution X features a fully polished, stainless steel 304 muffler and piping mated to dual 110mm rolled Titanium tips. Legamax Premium is available as a rear muffler section and is designed to bolt-on to the factory mid pipe. Initial testing with the rear section produced 5 RWHP. An optional SUS304 center pipe complements the HKS Evo X Legamax Premium Muffler and is now available through Authorized HKS Dealers. HKS Front Pipe
For maximum exhaust flow and quicker turbo spool up, HKS offers a 65 mm SUS 304 front pipe for the Evo X. The mandrel bent front pipe is a bolt-on application that mounts to the stock turbo and will also bolt on to the HKS or factory center pipe. The HKS front pipe does not remove any catalytic converters but is intended FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY.
HKS Bumper Protectors
HKS also offers optional bumper protectors for the factory EVO X rear bumper. HKS bumper protectors act as heat shields protecting the edge of the rear bumper from the heat produced by the exhaust tips. Made from polished stainless steel 304 with the HKS Logo, the bumper protectors further accentuate the rear of the EVO X.
HKS Intercooler Piping Kit
The HKS Intercooler Piping Kit stabilizes and improves boost pressure and response by replacing the factory 60 mm rubber intercooler hoses with 70 mm aluminum pipes that are not prone to expansion or cracking. The HKS Intercooler Piping Kit includes 3 polished inlet pipes, 1 polished outlet pipe, and purple HKS silicone joint hoses.
HKS Front Mount Intercooler Kits
HKS R-Type Front Mount Intercoolers feature a large capacity core with low pressure loss. The HKS EVO X intercoolers are available as a complete kit with polished aluminum piping or as a bolt-on assembly which includes core, end tanks and an inlet pipe. This kit is for use with the factory intercooler piping or the HKS Intercooler Piping Kit.
HKS Super SQV Kit
HKS Super SQV (Super Sequential Blow Off Valve) uses a unique sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system, which allows for a broad operation range from low boost to high boost. Evolution X specific Super SQV kits include two polished aluminum pipes and both the HKS Triple Fin Sound insert and Recirculation fitting.
HKS Metal Head Gaskets
HKS metal head gaskets are engineered to resist severe levels of heat that are generated by high-horsepower and high-boost applications. HKS head gaskets are constructed with multiple layers of steel and coated with a special fluorine rubber to provide exceptional sealing. HKS head gaskets are designed to accommodate standard and certain oversized cylinder bores. HKS metal head gaskets for the Lancer Evolution X are available in 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 mm thicknesses.

Orlando Performance Motorsports LLC now carries Euro License Plates! Get that extra attention and points at the next car show with these plates. We sell either used German Plates from 1994-present or custom plates with your own writing (Number of Characters available on each plate varies). These items are shipped directly from Germany and take roughly 2-4 weeks to get but packages typically arrive in 8-10 days. Below is some information regarding German Plates. More information on these items will be posted on the blog in the next few days.
Product Information
German car number plates show the place where the car carrying them is registered. Whenever a person changes their main place of residence in Germany, or buys a new car, they are required to buy new number plates. Number plates can be bought which are valid all year round or between 2 to 11 months within any 12 months. This allows to change between summer and winter cars, such as a convertible and a sedan/saloon without having the time and money wasted for de- and re-registering. Emission test (front plate) and vehicle safety test (rear plate) stickers are also attached to the plate. The expiry date can be figured out as following: The year is in the centre of the sticker and the number on the uppermost is the month. The black marking on the side makes it easy for the police to see the expiring month from the distance. Imagine a clock, then the the marking shows the same position as the face of the clock does. For example the black marking is on the left side, so it is the ninth month (or 9 o’clock) and hence the expiry date is 30th September. The colours are repeated every 6 years. The lower sticker is the official “seal” of registration — indeed, at the beginning of the 20th century, plates were authorised with ink and a stamp. Motorcycles carry only the rear plate.
The post-1994 German number plate format
The present number plate format, used since 1994, uses black print on a white background and first provides information about the country where the car is registered, in the form of a D (for Deutschland) on the blue strip on the left, like many European Union number plates.
After that, there are between one and three letters which show the city or region where the car is registered. DD stands for Dresden, D for Düsseldorf and MST for Mecklenburg-Strelitz, for example. These units usually coincide with the German districts, in few cases an urban district and the surrounding district share the same letter code. Hanseatic cities may have an H in front of them, e.g. HH for Hansestadt Hamburg or HRO for Hansestadt Rostock. The number of letters in the city/region prefix often reflects the size of the city: one letter for a large city (B= Berlin or H=Hannover) two for a medium-sized city (DD= Dresden) or three for a small city (MST=Mecklenburg-Strelitz).
After the location name come the emission test and vehicle safety test stickers, then one or two usually random letters followed by one to four usually random numbers. The total quantity of letters and numbers on the plate is never higher than eight. One letter with low numbers are normally reserved for motorcycle use since the plates space of this vehicles is smaller.
Car owners can personalise their plates by choosing certain numbers or letters instead of the random ones at the end. For example, people living in the town of Pirna might choose PIR-AT 77, “Pirat” being the German for “pirate”; another favourite is BAR-BQ 777 for Barnim. Various combinations that could be considered politically unacceptable — mainly due to implications relating to Nazi Germany — are disallowed or otherwise avoided. The district Sächsische Schweiz uses the name of its main town, Pirna, in its code PIR, to avoid the use of SS, the name of the paramilitary organisation; similarly SA is also avoided. In 2004 in Nuremberg, a car owner was refused a number plate beginning N-PD because of the connection to the political party, the NPD.
Example of banned combination (”NS”) which has been issued accidentally.Other banned combinations include the Nazi abbreviations HJ (Hitlerjugend, Hitler Youth), NS (Nationalsozialismus, National Socialism), SA (Sturmabteilung), SS (Schutzstaffel) and KZ (Konzentrationslager, concentration camp). Some registration offices have overlooked this rule by mistake, however; there are a few cars registered carrying prohibited codes, such as B-SS 12.
Certain types of vehicle bear special codes:
Vintage cars (known in German by the pseudo-English expression Oldtimer) have an H (historic) at the end of the plate, such as K-AA 100H
Cars with seasonal number plates have two numbers at the end of the plate indicating the months between which they are registered to drive, with the licence being valid from the start of the upper month until the end of the lower month.
Official cars such as police, fire fighting and municipality vehicles do not carry a letter after the sticker, such as M-1234. Police cars usually start with the number 3, example: S-3123
Until 2004, vehicles which do not have to pay the usual taxes (for example ambulances, tractors or trailer for boats) were green print on a white background.
Vehicles which have not been registered (because they are being repaired, for example) have to carry short-term plates valid only for five days. The code starts with the numbers 04, e.g. DD-04000, and the plate has a yellow strip on the right showing when they are valid. The date is listed numerically, on three lines, reading day, month, year, with two digits each.
Car dealers’ plates are in red print on a white background, and the code begins with 06.
Diplomatic plates have the digit 0 (Zero) on the left instead of the registration location code.
The military uses old style non-reflecting plates with a dash between the two circles. The German flag is shown, instead of the blue EU strip. Military plates use the letter Y, rather than a city indicator (no large German city name starts with a Y). After the Y comes a six-digit number (or five digits for motorcycles), for example Y-123456
Military vehicles which are used by the Nato headquarters in Germany use the same design as the Y-plates except they carry the letter X followed by a four-digit number, for example X-1234
Some branches of the federal government and Bundesländer’s governments use the abbreviations of their names instead of a city code. Example: the Technisches Hilfswerk (German Federal Agency for Technical Relief) uses its abbreviation THW, so the plates read like THW-12345
The federal border police (Bundesgrenzschutz) uses the code BG (BG-#####) instead of the local code.

The extrovert of the entire Lexus lineup, the IS-F isn’t light on visual or actual horsepower. Japan’s Wald Tuning hasn’t let that fact get in their way of releasing the Sports Line Black Bison bodykit. Wald’s setup adds some visual aggression through an increase in the number of strakes and vents, as well as a trunklid spoiler. Doubtless, this get-up will add weight, possibly offering contradictory real-world performance from a vehicle that certainly looks like it should be fast. The amped-up visuals also help distract from the controversial fender gills, and the Black Bison package for the IS-F manages tack-on without being overly tacky. Well, maybe just a little tacky.

Boost Controler
The ARK Advanced Boost Controller design concept was simple. Compact and easy to use. The ARK ABC offers two boost settings options to suite economic (low boost) or sports (high boost) driving styles. Using its high illuminated 7 segments LED lights, users can input boost warning settings which flash in RED color when the vehicle is over boosting (hitting the warning boost setting level). The ARK ABC also has a large high luminance LED display for easy visualization that is available in RED or BLUE LED display. With its built in digital boost meter, colors will change according to the boost levels with a full color LED light. A patented See-Saw switch offers a unique style and easy control. Compact Design
Small compact controller design (W105 x D20 x H18mm) allows user to locate the unit anywhere inside the vehicle for easy access. Built in pressure sensor within the power box to minimize the installation components. Small size solenoid valve also gives users the option of any installation locations inside the engine bay. Two Boost Settings
Two boost settings are available for the user to set. A Low and a High setting can be made to suite users driving style. Display Screen

Original See-Saw switch button design from ARK (Japanese utility application 506221619) provides unique style and easy control switches. Left/Right for manu selection and Up/Down rolling for adjustments. Push to set.
Warning Boost Setting
Users allowed to set the desired warning boost level to prevent over boosting situations. The full color LED light will flash in White when the boost level is reaching or if its over the warning boost setting. The warning light color can also be changed to the user’s preference.
Safety Switch When the boost controller senses the boost is raising at an abnormal pattern, the boost controller will switch off the boost control setting and return to the standard boost settings.
Peak Hold Display The peak boost level will be memorized automatically. Users have the option on select the display screen to show real time boost readings or peak boost figures.

Auto Mode - this calculates the engine status before switching the engine off. It will calculate the ideal idling time to cool down the engine oil according to the driving style. Manual Mode -allows drivers to set the idling time manually as default. Rev-Shift Function
RPM can be detected and display through either alternator pulse (simply through power connection) or direct from the ECU rev signal. An on/off shift light can be set at any RPM point. The full color LED lamp will flash in white when the set Rev is reach.
A/F Ratio Display
The simple A/F ratio can be read through the ECU. Full color LED will change color according to the O2 readings. O2 readings can be correct through battery voltage settings. (warning : A/F ratio readings will only work with the zirconia type O2 sensor signal. This function won’t work with other type of O2 sensor signal)

COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS A Cold Air Intake is traditionally longer and in most cases extended behind the bumper cover so that it can ingest direct air that is both cooler and denser. In addition to more direct air, the longer plenum achieves higher torque gains as well as impressive horsepower figures. Depending on the complexity of the plenum route, the Fujita Cold Air Intake may come as a 1 piece or 2 piece intake system. Different diameters, filters, and bends are all key factors of the R&D process of each Cold Air Intake. The in-house Dynojet is the final judge of which intake configuration will make it to production. Air/Fuel ratios are also an important factor in testing the Cold Air Intake, ensuring that safe and near factory levels are maintained in order to not trip any electronic sensors on the vehicle.
SHORT RAM INTAKE SYSTEMS A traditional underhood intake, also known as a Short Ram Intake, usually follows the same path as the stock intake system. There are some distinct differences between the stock intake and the Fujita Air Short Ram. A few of these differences include replacing the factory intake plenum with an aluminum plenum, eliminating resonators, air box, drop in filter, and replacing it with an open filter element. These key differences allow the vehicle to bring in more air into the intake chamber and create more horsepower and torque. Vacuum and in some cases air mass sensors, are still maintained and incorporated into the Fujita Short Ram Intake. Since a vehicle is constantly moving (except during traffic or at a light) heat soak will be of little issue since the car will constantly be bringing in fresh air. In addition, studies have shown that the material used to build the intake system has shown no loss of horsepower due to an intake being rubber, aluminum, ceramic coated, anodized, etc.

Each Fujita intake system is made with 6061 T6 Aluminum Alloy. After each application is bent and inspected, we polish it for an extremely bright finish.
Carbon Plated T-bolt Clamps are used in our applications due to their strength and reliability. All of our T-bolt Clamps either meet or exceed the SAE Spec. J1508.
CNC machined air mass sensor fittings are used to ensure proper air/fuel ratios throughout the power curve. Each sensor is carefully engineered for accuracy.

B&M
B&M…A Company Of Firsts
As performance enthusiasts today, most people are accustomed to having access to whatever performance parts they need for their vehicle readily available at their local dealer. It usually never crosses anyone’s mind who invented these products? Who was the first to identify the need, then develop and manufacture that product?
Since the very early 1950s, B&M has been at the vanguard of the growing automotive aftermarket. Racers themselves, B&M’s founders identified the needs of local racers and street performance enthusiasts, and developed products to fill those needs. As the industry grew so did B&M. And as racers went faster, B&M developed products to help them break the records they just set.
In the 50s it was B&M who came up with the idea of using a performance reinforced Hydramatic for racing. In the 60s it was B&M who developed shifters to go along with it, and later in the decade came race converters. In the 70s shift and transmission improving kits, and always the constant refinements and expansion of existing product lines.

Belltech
Over 20 years ago a small company in Fresno, California had an idea to build the “best performing” lowering suspensions for the Chevrolet pick up. Fresno had been a haven for lowered vehicles and trucks were in abundance. Trucks were being lowered but their suspensions were terrible and not very roadworthy. Springs were either replaced with new ones not necessarily meant for the application and even worse they may be cut or heated with a torch at the local muffler shop to give the lowered stance that was cool. The stance looked good but the ride was terrible.
Beginning of Americas Sport Truck Craze
Belltech’s design staff had a better idea! Why not build a spindle where the wheels are higher but all of the rest of the front end geometry stays the same? In fact that’s just what they did and the drop spindle that launched the Sport truck craze in America was born.
To go along with the drop spindle the rest of the truck suspension needed to be addressed also. Shackles, hanger kits, lowered coil springs and flip kits soon followed. Keeping with the spirit of the “best performing” suspension the Belltech staff designed and created these components using superior materials and designs. The result made Belltech the most asked for and successful truck suspension brand in the industry.
Continuous Growth
As time went on more and more enthusiasts joined the Sport truck phenomenon. Soon Ford, Dodge and import truck owners wanted to join in on the look and style of Belltech equipped vehicles. This started a whole new market of truck owners that could now do something different and up to date for their brand of truck. Belltech designed and created suspension components for these applications as well and the company grew accordingly.
With the suspension lowered there was one more factor that needed to be considered. We had to take a look at the suspension dampening system (the shocks). Stock shocks worked well with the stock suspension but by changing the ride height the shock geometry was affected. That’s when the properly designed
Nitro Drop Shock line was designed. Constantly keeping up with the ever challenging Sport truck enthusiast Belltech took this program a step further with the introduction of the Nitro Active shock line using monotube technology to further improve ride quality. Belltech now offers a choice of shocks the better Nitro Drop and the best Nitro Active. No matter what your lowered truck suspension needs are, Belltech is there with products to satisfy every desire.
Belltech’s success in the late ‘80’s and ‘90’s made it possible for the company to grow from a modest beginning, to a larger manufacturing facility with a satellite warehouse and finally in 2003 to the current 115,000+ sq. ft. operation located in Sanger, California. The Sanger facility has made it possible to expand every aspect of the operation.
Additional space for both Engineering and R & D are making it possible to create and develop new products more efficiently and timely. Some of the results relating to these new transformations are the development of new products like the GM Colorado / Canyon lowering Ball Joint and the new line of Ford F150 drop spindles.
In early 2005 Belltech and its sister company Suspension Techniques joined the team of KW automotive North America, Inc. KW automotive North America, Inc. allows Belltech to continue its growth in product development with the inclusion of dynamic race proven suspension design.

The Centerforce era started in the early 1980’s when Bill Hays, founder of Hays Clutches in the 1950’s, created the technologies behind Centerforce. HOW IT ALL BEGAN…
The Challenge
In the early days of the automotive performance industry, you either ran what was available, or you fabricated something you thought met your needs. Such needs were the building blocks of this industry, and it was through the efforts of many that we have the automotive aftermarket, but it was through the work of one name in particular to which many in the industry owe a great debt, and that name is Edelbrock.
The Beginning
Vic Edelbrock Sr. was born in a small farming community near Wichita, Kansas in 1913. His father supported the family comfortably as the owner of the local grocery store. When the Edelbrock grocery store burned down in 1927, Vic left school at age 14 to help support the family. He had a natural talent for mechanics. His first job was at an auto repair shop where he developed his skills as an auto mechanic. When the Great Depression hit Kansas, the young Vic Edelbrock looked to the prosperous West for a new home.
A New Start in California
In 1931, Vic migrated to California to live with his brother. It was here that he met Katie, who became his wife in 1933. With his new brother-in-law, Vic opened his first repair shop on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The business flourished and in 1934 he moved into his own shop on the corner of Venice and Hoover in Los Angeles. Bobby Meeks, who retired in 1993, started with Vic at this time and became his loyal assistant. Between 1934 and the start of the war, several important events occurred. Vic Sr.’s reputation as an expert mechanic helped his business grow and he moved his shop three times during this period. Vic and Katie’s only child, Vic Jr., was born in 1936. In 1938, Vic Sr. bought his first project car… a 1932 Ford Roadster. This car was a turning point in Edelbrock history. It was Vic Sr.’s entry into the world of “hot rods” and it inspired the design and manufacture of the first Edelbrock intake manifold.
The “Slingshot” Manifold & El Mirage Dry Lake
When Vic bought the roadster, he joined with Tommy Thickstun to design the “Thickstun” manifold for the flathead. When Vic wasn’t happy with the performance, he designed his own aluminum intake manifold. It was called the “Slingshot”.
The Slingshot was a 180° manifold for a Ford flathead using two Stromberg 97 carburetors. This was the first product to feature the famous “EDELBROCK” name. Before the war, Vic produced about 100 of these flathead Ford manifolds. Vic raced and tested his new manifold on his 1932 Ford at Muroc Dry Lake, 80 miles northeast of Los Angeles (where Edwards Air Force base is today). Vic became a consistent winner with his modified roadster at racing speeds of 112 mph. Vic would drive the Ford to the dry lakes, remove the fenders and the windshield, then race the car. At the end of the races, he would re-install the fenders and the windshield and drive it home.
The roadster became an important part of Vic’s product development. He would install his parts on the roadster to determine how well they would perform. One of Vic’s ideas was modified factory cast iron “Denver” cylinder heads which incorporated a special high-altitude design featuring higher compression. Vic would fill and mill the head for a further increase in the compression, gaining even more power.
The New Beginning
Other racers were continually impressed with Vic’s consistent wins at the dry lakes. The requests he received for his twin carb manifold were the driving force behind the opening of his own performance parts business. Three weeks before Pearl Harbor and the advent of World War II, Vic was clocked at the speed of 121.42 mph in his fenderless ’32 at Rosamond Dry Lake. During the war, Vic shelved his racing activities and used his machinist skills for the war effort. His work included welding at the Long Beach shipyards in Southern California and hand fabricating parts for aircraft. Vic’s war-time experiences increased his perception of what he could build with the right machining tools. At the end of the war, he purchased his first building to open a machine shop and repair facility at 1200 North Highland in Hollywood, CA.
Thorough Testing Delivered Results
It was after the war that Vic designed his first aluminum racing heads for flathead Fords. Like the Slingshot, these heads were well received. The business was on the way to becoming more of a performance parts shop than a repair shop. The first catalog was printed in 1946 with the name “Edelbrock Power and Speed Equipment” across the front cover. This catalog included Edelbrock heads and intakes as well as pistons, steering wheels and crankshafts. At this time, Vic was committed to running his business and participating in his favorite sport… midget racing.
Midget Racing…A Success Story
Before the war, Vic bought his first midget and knew it wouldn’t be his last. In 1946, he bought a midget built by D.W. McCully. But it was the third midget he purchased that would become part of racing history. The 7th Kurtis Kraft midget, which the company still owns, was purchased later that year. With Bobby Meeks as head wrench, they toured the Southern California tracks, racing up to six nights a week. Vic’s winning team included such greats as Perry Grimm, Walt Faulkner, Billy Vukovich and Rodger Ward. Vic was now known for fast flathead Fords and race-winning midgets. History was made when Vic’s V8-60 equipped midget broke the winning streak of the Offy-equipped midgets. With Rodger Ward at the wheel and nitromethane in the fuel, #27 beat the Offys in the first and only V8-60 win at the famous Gilmore Stadium. Vic was the first to use nitromethane as fuel, and needless to say, his competitors had no idea what that strange smell and color was coming from the exhaust!
The First Engine Dynamometer
With a solid business now developing, Vic bought one of the performance industry’s first engine dynos in 1948. With this 200 HP Clayton dyno he was now able to get actual data to gauge the effectiveness of his products. This dyno allowed Vic to prove that his designs not only won races but made measurable performance gains. By now, Vic Edelbrock Sr.’s equipment was on almost every winning car on the dry lakes and the midget tracks.
Vic’s First Purpose-Built Shop
Business flourished and in 1949, Vic moved into his first purpose-built shop on Jefferson Blvd. It was 5,000 sq. ft. and equipped with a small machine shop, repair bays, engine dynamometer, a small stock room and office space. In this new facility, Vic expanded his business by designing more cylinder heads, more intake manifolds and even racing pistons for several different applications. AND HOW WE EVOLVED…
Reputation Grows as Edelbrock-Equipped Cars Set Records
In the early 1950s, dry lakes racing activities expanded to include Bonneville. Edelbrock-equipped cars continued to dominate. The first single engine streamliner to go over 200 mph was the Edelbrock-equipped Bachelor-Xydias So. Cal. Special. Don Waite, former Vice President of Engineering at Edelbrock from 1990-95, raced an Edelbrock-equipped 160 mph 1927 Model-T Roadster. When Don decided his Roadster needed to go faster, he worked with Vic Sr. and Bobby Meeks from 1950 to 1952 to streamline the body and build a 304 cubic-inch flathead. Now called “The Edelbrock Special” the roadster was equipped with an Edelbrock 4-carb intake, Edelbrock heads and pistons. Using nitromethane, this 1927 Model-T went 192 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
During this time, the business continued to expand. The Edelbrock catalog grew as Vic expanded his line of cylinder heads, intake manifolds, flywheels, pistons, cams and adjustable tappets for Fords, Mercurys and Lincolns. His catalog also included parts from Paul Scheifer, Ed Iskenderian, Harmon & Collins and Ed Winfield.
Breakthroughs
Vic Sr. began dyno tests on the brand new small-block Chevrolet engine in 1955. Several power-producing manifolds were the result, the first being the three-carb intake manifold that was featured on the cover of Hot Rod magazine. The six-carb Ram Log manifold for the street and strip was the next development. Then in 1958, Vic managed an industry first by getting one horsepower-per-cubic-inch from a 283 cid small-block Chevy with the new Cross Ram manifold. This breakthrough led Edelbrock to develop manifolds for Pontiac and Chrysler engines as well.
From Father To Son
At the early age of 49, cancer took the life of Vic Edelbrock Sr. He was a man held in high esteem and it was a sad day for the aftermarket industry and for those who loved him. The year was 1962 and the Edelbrock Equipment Company was handed over to Vic Jr. and a group of loyal employees, most of whom had been with Vic Sr. since the beginning. They knew what it took to continue the traditions Vic Sr. had begun.
A Great Crew
Vic Sr. left behind a great team of very talented people. Bobby Meeks, Don Towle and Robert Bradford were on hand to assist Vic Jr. in continuing his father’s dream. In 1964, a good friend named Bob Joehnck saw an opportunity to develop an intake for a small-block Chevy. Vic’s response was, “No, the factory already makes a manifold.” He changed his mind a week later. The C-4B manifold was another turning point for the Edelbrock Equipment Company. The “golden age of the 1960s and 1970s” brought about the Tunnel Ram, Tarantula and Streetmaster manifolds. Vic Jr. was looking towards the future of the industry. From 1971 to 1974, he served as President of the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) to educate both the public and the legislators in Washington to the benefits of a strong and legal performance parts industry.
The ’80s and ’90s brought about a new direction as Edelbrock Corporation moved into a more diverse product line with carburetors, camshaft kits, valvetrain parts, exhaust systems, engine accessories, fuel system parts, cylinder heads and more.
Edelbrock Today Edelbrock Corporation has over six locations: four in Torrance and two in San Jacinto, California, totaling over 600,000 square feet. Headquarters include: R&D; manufacturing; tech support and more. Less than a mile away the Exhaust and Suspension Division design and manufacture high quality components using custom built equipment and state-of-the-art testing facilities.
Our Aluminum Foundry and Motorcycle Division, where we manufacture carburetors for motorcycles, is located in San Jacinto. Our sand-cast foundry has been called “the most state-of-the-art foundry west of the Mississippi.” In 2007 we will be adding a new Permanent Mold and Heat Treat facility next to our existing sand cast foundry, an over 8 million dollar commitment to “Made in USA” products and performance.
In October 1999, we moved our warehouse into a new Distribution Center. All shipping and receiving operations were relocated to provide room for the expansion of our cylinder head, water pump and manifold manufacturing area at the main facility.
Vic’s Garage is located in the Distribution Center and houses the Company’s collection of street rods and classic cars, as well as our extensive collection of historic photos and archives. Please call and make an appointment if you would like to tour Vic’s Garage.
Russell Performance Products became part of the Edelbrock family early in 2001. They were moved to the shock facility in the spring and we are pleased to welcome the Russell employees to “The Fun Team.”

The SS/GT aerodynamic kit increases overall body stance by 3.15 inches (80mm). Rapid Flow Cool Air Induction
The RFI is an advanced airflow induction built to increase the engine’s ability to breath. By replacing the restrictive stock induction, RFI increases horsepower, torque, fuel efficiency, and decreases exhaust gas temperatures. By removing the stock air box, replacing it with a metal heat shield, and using a conical air filter you can maximize the air filter cleaning area and allow the engine to breathe easier and produce more horsepower. All RFI inductions use a lifetime reusable 4” layer cotton gauze filter. This design, combined with deep pleats, make these filters ideal for high performance use. This induction also works very well in conjunction with performance computer modules. The modules will increase the amount of fuel going into the motor and will therefore increase the need for more air. The installation of this system is very easy and requires only very basic hand tools. Installation can generally be done in 20 minutes or less
Dyno Dominator Modules by BULLY DOG TECHNOLOGIES ™
The Dyno Dominator Performance Module is ideal for the extreme user and horsepower enthusiast. If you enjoy fast reacting high horsepower, this module was designed for you. The extreme user will love the features this module has to offer. The Dyno Dominator adds three horsepower settings: Stock, Tow (70 hp) and Extreme (150 hp) for the Duramax and the 6.0L Power Stroke engines. The settings are adjustable on-the-fly by way of an in-cab mounted toggle switch, or it has four on-the-fly adjustments when used in conjunction with the Outlook Monitor
Dual Exhaust Systems
Bully Dog Technologies’ Rapid Flow Exhaust Systems are designed and built with absolute minimal degree angles on bends. This will create the most free flowing low back pressure system in the industry allowing the turbo to move air more freely, reducing exhaust temperatures. Dyno results have shown a significant gain in horsepower by simply switching from stock to a Rapid Flow Exhaust System. Available in 16-gauge aluminized, T-304 micro shine stainless steel or T-409 stainless steel The Rapid Flow Exhaust Systems have the lowest degree mandrel bends offering free flowing and low back pressure. This will lower exhaust temperatures by as much as 200 degrees and provides 10-20 hp increases dependent upon size upgrade and current horsepower output. Bully Dog recommends using a 4” exhaust system for horsepower applications less than 450 hp, while the 5” systems are recommended between 450 to 550 horsepower applications, and our new 6” systems are recommended for trucks producing more than 550 hp.
Bully Dog Nitrous Injection Kit
Bully Dog is the leader in diesel nitrous technology. The Bully Kicker kit gives up to 150 hp. The Dual Shot Bully Kicker kit gives up to a 200 hp shot, complete with throttle switches, a pressure switch and high performance solenoids. The Dual Shot Racing kit blows away the competition with a huge gain of up to 250 hp. All nitrous kits are dry kits. Nitrous injection must be matched with diesel fuel input to show proper gains.
Shift Enhancers
These transmission kits increase line pressure in the transmission, which reduces torque converter and transmission clutch slippage and improves shifting. Easy to install using basic hand tools. Bully Dog’s shift enhancers improve shift and line pressure while reducing slipping and lowering heat. The end result is firmer, quicker shifts which vastly improves the driving experience and longevity of the transmission by lowering transmission temperatures. The shift enhancer will fit in all E40D and the 4R100 transmissions. The Allison Shift Enhancer is the simplest, most effective kit available without having to pull the transmission. It literally gives the clutches more traction in the clutch packs. It allows for a quicker shift and 50 hp worth of additional holding power for the Allison 1000, 2000 and 2400 transmissions.
